October 13th, 2009 - Next Quarterly Board Meeting
The next 'Quarterly Board Meeting' has been set for 14th November. As the Board of Directors will be discussing the 2010 annual assessment at this meeting, a minimum of 30 days' (maximum 60 days) notice has to be given to members. A meeting notice letter has therefore been posted today to ALL members. A transcipt of this letter is available for viewing on the 'Meeting & Minutes' page under 'Meeting Notices'.

October 5th, 2009 - 25th September Special Board Meeting Minutes
The 'meeting minutes' for the Tuscan Ridge Master HOA Special Board Meeting held on 25th September are now available on the 'Meeting & Minutes' page.
Financial concerns
Following the 'Latest News' posting last month entitled '2009 Master HOA Annual Assessment', the members at the meeting raised their concerns as to how the Master HOA had found itself in the stated financial situation that it was now in and also asked if the Association was 'bankrupt'. Although the Master HOA is experiencing financial hardship it is NOT bankrupt.
Some members were of the mistaken belief that this financial hardship was as a result of the urgent and necessary spending undertaken earlier in the year to address the poor state of the landscape of our entranceway that had fallen into disrepair during the preceding months. The Master Vice President addressed these concerns and provided a detailed explanation of this landscaping expenditure as well as other unplanned and urgent repairs that were required. An important point to remember is what the Master HOA's function and responsibilities are. The 'Mission' and 'Vision' statements sum these up:
Mission ~ To provide a most favourable first impression and aesthetically pleasing entranceway to Tuscan Ridge.
Vision ~ To add value to the communities of 'Countryside' and 'The Village' that will not only enhance the desirability of home ownership in Tuscan Ridge but will help keep it as one of the most pre-eminent and up-market residential and vacation rental communities in the Orlando, 'Disney' area.
